Cars
from the past require more input from the driver to make up for their deficit in
engineering. It’s a form of communication between car and driver. Over time,
the two develop a relationship, and they understand each other. They’re like
the best of friends. Compared to classics, modern cars are much easier to live
with, but their focus on technical improvements has also cut off much of the
communication between car and driver. Their relationship is merely that of a
machine and its operator.
