Is the Lamborghini Veneno the ugliest car ever?

   

Supercars divide people. Expensive, fast, over the top and most of all eye-catching, some love the prestige and obsess over the technology while others find them ugly and excessive.

Usually when a car is debuted at the Geneva Motorshow it will have its share of lovers, even if it also has critics. The Lamborghini Veneno, however, has stirred up an unusual amount of negative feedback and very little positive.

With a price tag of £2.6 million and a production run limited to just 3 units, the Veneno was always going to be a big talking point in the world of car lovers, but its size, big curves and Batmobile-esque design have made it a re"This is a guest post by Kat Morris, a motoring and finance blogger for Car Loan 4U."ally hot topic over the past couple of months.

Some car websites and critics have described it as “the ugliest car in history”, full of clichés and horribly overpriced (although that was always going to be the case!)

So is it the ugliest supercar ever? In the past other models have been given a similar moniker, such as the Vector W8 with its big square front and the Gumbert Apollo for its large bulging eye-like headlights, but criticisms of the Veneno seem to find the whole shape and overall concept offensive, rather than just one feature.

The 3 units were sold before the car was debuted, and according to reports the new owners are happy, so perhaps the criticism doesn’t matter. But what do you think? Ugly or uniquely brilliant?
