right-thinking car firm is going to stop churning them out. And this month,
there's another three to get 'excited' about, although not all will necessarily
break free from the studio lights and make it into production.
While
we'd love to see people's reactions to the Lexus LF-NX in the real world, it's
safe to say that there's no chance of it being sold without significant
changes, changes that make it look less like a Cubist hippo, we'd assume.
However, based on Toyota's RAV 4 and using a hybrid drive system, Lexus is
serious about something like this slotting into the range below the RX,
possibly as early as next year.

The
most significant thing about the lnfiniti Q30 concept is unlikely to be the
impact next year's production version will have on world sales, but what is
significant is that while it will be built at Nissan's Sunderland plant in the
UK, it won't simply be a rebadged Oashqai. Instead, the underpinnings have been
borrowed from the newest Mercedes-Benz A-Class.
A
surprising turn of events, which means the Q30 will have rather a lot in common
with the Mercedes GLA, due on sale later this year.
Mere
insists its customers don't buy lnfinitis, but it still looks a risky strategy
from where we're standing. Anyhow, the GLA will at least get the lead into the
market, and will eventually spawn an AMG variant, and that's enough for it to
get our vote.
